Who We Are
Bebminot (meaning “Protector of children”) Family Wellness helps to improve the health and wellness of children 0-6 years old and their families in a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
Serving Simcoe County, our Bebminot Family Wellness Worker provides guidance and support to Indigenous families in the region. Some key areas of focus include:
- Child development
- Life skills
- Parenting
- Cultural & traditional teachings
Our Vision
The Bebminot Family Wellness program is committed to developing, supporting and delivering programs that promote the well-being of Indigenous children, families and communities within Simcoe County.
This programming also includes those at risk of experiencing the effects of poverty, and to also help provide better opportunities for low-income families.
