Biinoojinsag Committee

Ongoing Supports for Indigenous Children & Families.

What We Do.

Biinoojinsag is an ongoing Knowledge to Action priority. This committee involves regional front line workers who work with and support parents with children 0 – 6 years old within Simcoe County.

This committee of dedicated workers meets monthly to connect services, share upcoming opportunities and ensure that referral pathways are strong. During these meetings, awareness is brought to the current programs and services available to help meet the needs of our local Indigenous children.

Our Priorities.

The BANAC staff and board members oversee and provide guidance with respect to the development of a coordinated regional response to meet the needs of Indigenous children, youth and their families.

Our Community Partners.

Great partnerships and collaborations with regional Indigenous Organizations have developed over the many years that BANAC has been in existence. Contact the Bebminot Family Wellness Worker at acommanda@banac.on.ca.
